Over the coming months, I will be posting on various esoteric and spiritual subjects loosely based on Gnosticism. My goal will be to synthesize some this knowledge into our current understanding of science and medicine.
Some background on myself. I'm a practicing medical doctor living in the United States who practices traditional Western medicine, with generous amounts of various alternative therapies thrown in. I am not dogmatic in any medical beliefs - I use whatever works for the patient. I hold a respect for the Western medical model but am dissatified with it's incompleteness. I've explored most alternative forms of medicine and have found many to be intriguing and effective, however there was still something missing.
This blog will communicate my quest for a more complete form of medicine. My working hypothesis on this is that it will incorporate aspects of all the various forms of medicine /healing brought together by a spirituality most likely practiced by the Ancient Mystery Schools.
The first topic I'm going to tackle with be "The Science and Spirituality of the Pineal Gland". If you have any ideas for topics you'd like me to research - leave a comment below.

This is not a conspiracy column - if that is your interest, there are plenty of other sites. Conspiracy is part of human nature and is ever present. Let's all agree it exists in nearly everything, no need to type about it until our fingers fall off. If you think some group is jeopardizing your health then educate yourself, find a like-minded practitioner and live your beliefs.
